Moongal dal Payasam

பாசிப்பருப்பு பாயாசம்

Moongal dal Payasam is a simple dish and 15 minutes. Moongal dal, jaggery, coconut mincing is the main ingredients of this dish.

INGREDIENTS

50 gram moongal dal
1/4 cup of coconut (mincing)
1 Asafoetida (crush)
2 cup of water
  • Take a vessel add moongal dal and heat it

  • Dry saute in golden brownish color

  • Saute well

  • Add 2 cup of water and boil it

  • Close the vessel and boil in 10 minutes (medium flame)

  • Moongal dal cook well

  • Add jaggery mix well

  • Add water(optional)

  • Add Asafoetida (crush) or Asafoetida powder

  • Add coconut mincing mix well

  • In all ingredients boil it in few minutes (medium flame)

  • Payasam ready and swith off the flame

  • Serve it
